We explore how artificial intelligence can improve global climate models by researching new ways to represent clouds and understand cloud processes.

Mathilde is funded by the Westfarmers General Sir John Monash Scholarship, a prestigious Australian leadership scholarship, and the Oxford-Richards Graduate Scholarship from Wadham College. She has experience in Australian drought and bushfire research, coastal flooding and sea level rise in Pacific Small-Island Nations, and satellite science.
