I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Calleva Research Centre at Magdalen College. I did my bachelor in Atmospheric Sciences and studied Natural Hazard during master period. I obtained my PhD degree in Physics in Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems. During the PhD period, I was an early stage researcher (ESR) involved in the Marie Curie ITN project "Climate Advanced Forecasting of sub-seasonal Extremes" (CAFE).

My research interest is multidisciplinary based on climate science. I am interested in analyzing extreme weather events and its social impact (mainly economic loss). I did a lot of work during my master and PhD period linking the large-scale climate mode with the weather anomalies, aiming to provide the useful prediction information for stake holders to manage the natural hazard risk. My current research interest focuses on the impact of climate change, especially on extreme weather events and tipping points.
